the first snow covers the rolling hills of the Eifel, Adenau is transformed into a
winter wonderland. The narrow alleyways and historic half-timbered houses are
festively decorated with lights and garlands that glow in the cold, clear winter air
. The surrounding nature also offers the opportunity to take winter walks
. The snow-covered forests and gentle hills invite
you to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the Eifel during this contemplative time.
Christmas in Adenau is not only a festival of lights and sounds, but

Advent for the whole family in the High Eifel

The Advent season at the Hotel Blaue Ecke in Adenau in the middle of the picturesque High Eifel,
is a true celebration for the whole family. When the first snowflakes fall and
the surroundings shine in festive splendor, the hotel is transformed into a place
full of warmth and coziness. A very special highlight at this time of year is the
atmospheric children’s train, which runs merrily around the market fountain. The
little guests can enjoy themselves as they glide through the
surroundings on the little train. The train is not only fun for the children, but also
a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together and enjoy the
pre-Christmas atmosphere. The Hotel Blaue
Ecke also has its own little Christmas market. Here you can warm up with a
hot mulled wine or a delicious hot chocolate.
